Obituary of Calogero 'Charlie' Scibetta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, and uncle, Charlie Scibetta, on August 22, 2025, at the age of 62. He is now reunited with his late father, Giuseppe.

Charlie leaves behind his loving mother, Filippa (nee Sferrazza) his dear brothers, Joe (Lisa), Vince (Andrea) and his cherished nieces and nephews, Olivia (Vincenzo) Dominic (Megan), Joey and Alyssa and great-nieces Sophia and Eliana. He will be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Charlie was a proud employee of Maple Leaf for over 30 years. He was known for his quiet strength and gentle nature, and he held a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.

Family meant everything to Charlie, and he especially treasured the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, who brought him endless joy. A passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. He will be remembered always for his kind heart, loving spirit, and the warmth he brought into every room.
