Obituary of Vilma Mary Tessaro

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother in her 98^th year in Hamilton, Ontario. Vilma is predeceased by her husband Dino Peter, parents Emma and Valentino Andreatta, sister Dinah Gatto (Sam), and brother Jerry Andreatta (Stella). Vilma will be lovingly remembered by her children Lenard (Susanne), and Paula, her grandsons Travis, Alexander and Aidan, and many nieces and nephews.

Vilma will be remembered for her exquisite skills in all things domestic. She was an EXTRORDINARY CHEF with the kindest of hearts and made everything she did look easy. She had tremendous faith and loved her family beyond measure. She had a kind word and smile for everyone. We are so grateful for the incredible angels at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke who always handled our mom with such Love and Respect. She loved you all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, August 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 232 Queenston Rd, Hamilton. Burial to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, 735 Hwy 8, Stoney Creek.
