Obituary of Patricia Ferguson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia, on Monday, August 11, 2025, at her home, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband William (2007). Cherished mother of Eric and the late Vicki Lynn (1982). Dearly loved grandmother of Vicki and her wife Carly, Patrick and his wife Cassie and their daughter Kaliyah. Dear sister of Carol “Lynn” Croley and aunt of Rob, Patti, and Sandy. Predeceased by her parents Eric and Evelyn Williams. She will be missed by her loyal dog Benji.

Patricia dedicated 35 years of her career to Bell Canada where her colleagues became lifelong friends. She was proud to have opened her heart and home to foster 17 children through Hamilton Children’s Aid, which spoke volumes to who she was. She found joy in cheering on the Blue Jays and spending many summers away at the trailer with family and friends. She also loved travelling, especially cruises. Patricia could often be found shopping and always wearing something in her favourite colour pink.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the Powerhouse Restaurant, 21 Jones St., Stoney Creek, at 1 p.m.
