Obituary of Mark Suwala

Passed peacefully on August 7^th, 2025, at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 62. He will be dearly missed by his parents Jan and Stella. Dear brother to Greg (Julie). Proud Uncle to Kevin (Annlee) and Emilie (Jerrett). He will also be missed by Danielle Harms.

Mark worked for over 25 years at Dofasco. He will be remembered as an avid fan of the Tiger Cats. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, August 12, from 4-7 p.m. Vigil prayers at 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 8 Saint Ann St., Hamilton, on Wednesday, August 13 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd., Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Foundation would be appreciated.
