Obituary of Marija "Mari" Volf

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Ferdinand Volf. Loving mother of Fred (Debbie) and Linda. Proud grandmother of Steven, Sara (John), Ryan, and great-grandmother of Hailey. She will be sadly missed by her niece, Maida, and family from Timmins as well as by her nieces and nephews in Slovenia. Marija will also be fondly remembered by her close neighbours and friends in the Slovenian community in Hamilton.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. Visitation to be held at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Roman Catholic Church, 125 Centennial Parkway N., Hamilton, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 9:30-11 a.m. Funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Private interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gregory the Great Church would be greatly appreciated.
