Obituary of Marianna Wasowicz

With deep sorrow and hearts full of love, we announce the peaceful passing of Marianna Wasowicz, who went to be with the Lord. Though her departure was unexpected, she left this world gently and with grace—just as she lived—surrounded by her loving family.

Marianna was predeceased by her devoted husband of 60 years, Stanislaw Wasowicz. Their life together was a true testament to faith, love, and commitment. She now rejoins him in eternal rest, where their souls are reunited in the presence of God.

Beloved mother of Krzysztof (Renata), Dariusz (Iwonna), Jacek (Anna), and Jolanta (Andrzej), Marianna was the pillar of her family. She was a constant source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in her cherished grandchildren: Daria, Anna, Patryk, Michal, Gosia, Filip, Fryderyk, Monika, Natalia, and Piotr, as well as her many adored great-grandchildren.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father—watching over us, reunited in everlasting joy with her beloved Stanislaw.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 8 Saint Ann Street, Hamilton, on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
