Obituary of Anna Zagorac

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Ridgeview LTC in Stoney Creek on July 15, 2025 at the age of 95. Finally reunited with her beloved husband Simo. Will be deeply missed by her sons Nicholas and Michael (Patricia). Also missed by her grandchildren Robert, Jeffrey (Kama), Stefanie (Denis), Daniel, and Christopher (Alexandra), and her great-grandchildren Sai, Ryker, Charlotte, Henry, Liam and Nora.

Anna will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening, and sewing. The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgeview and at the March of Dimes. Special thanks to Dr. David Cowan for his care and compassion.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, July 17 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
