I am Fiona, daughter of Santana. Santana is Sebastian Xavier’s sister. It’s so heart breaking to get this news. My GodFather and My mum’s loving younger brother, who she was so proud and fond of and was looking forward to meet in person one day. She is in so much pain today to let him go away so young. As my mum mourns and recalls her childhood spent with her brother, the two would make a great team together. Though I never got the chance to meet Uncle Xavier in person but have spoken to him many times on phone calls and with the fondest memories that my mum has conveyed to me for past decades, i understand that uncle Xavier was very very loving and loved his family so much. Very playful as a child and most protected sibling amongst the 8, faithful in every small task he was entrusted to. Had a loud laughter and he was good at vocals too while singing Mando’s (Goan folk songs). He loved to cook even as kid, he would go to the neighbour’s house and make ‘Dose’ ( Goan dessert) and serve it hot to his friends. (Memory that is still recalled by the neighbours) He loved sweets and desserts. He was Excellent at sports and won many trophy’s at school for cycling and was excellent at football too. As many villagers still remember themselves being afraid to enter the ground to play football in the opponents team if Xavier was one of the players. Attached a few pictures of uncle Xavier while he was a bachelor with his Father and sister Santana. Farewell Uncle Xavier. We will miss you dearly and you will always be remembered in our hearts forever Love you from, Santana, Thomas, Fiona, Francis and Reuel

I am Christine DeSouza, daughter of Antonio DeSouza, who was the older brother of Sebastian DeSouza; ‘Uncle Shars’ was a very sweet and gentle man, and will be missed very much. Enjoy these 6 picture boards that I made to honour my Uncle Shars; the boards are titled: Uncle, Brother, Brother-In-Law, Bachelor, Family, Friends; they will be on display at the viewing, Sun June 15, 2025 from 2-5pm, and at the funeral service on Mon June 16, 2025 at 1 pm in the funeral chapel at Donald V Brown Funeral Home.
