Obituary of Walter Coombes

Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the age of 101. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy.

Dearly loved father of Ken (Linda), Gail Thompson (Robert), and Gary (Carm). Cherished grandfather of Carrie (Joe), Brian (Megan), Jonathan (Christi), Christopher (Kristin), Stephanie, and great-grandchildren Jack, Owen, Aidan, Oliver, Lauren, Ben, and Sophie.

Walter was a proud Naval Veteran of World War II. He loved to spend time at his cottage with family and friends.

Heartfelt thanks to the caring and loving staff of Wentworth Lodge, especially Lilac Lane.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
