Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton, on May 14, 2025 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Ilona Helen Margaret Chainey (Berencsi McInnis), his rock, support and loving spouse of 25 years. Preceded in joining the Lord by his parents Henry and Fernande, his brother Richard, and brothers-in-law Ted and Jeff. Survived by his sons Clinton (Cyndie) and Jeremiah (Jennifer), his siblings Helen (Vince), Rita, Gilbert (Connie), Jeannine, Denise, and grandchildren Savannah, Jacob, Madison, Brandon, and Gabriel. 

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, May 24 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
