At the age of 91, Peter was joyfully welcomed into his eternal heavenly home. Peter was born in the small town of Abagha, Friesland, Holland. Loving husband of Sylvia for 70 years. Father of Peter (Janet) Vellenga, Frank (Sharon) Vellenga, Ida (John) Kerkhof, Linda Denman, and Debra (Steve) McBride. Peter was Grampa to 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 1 grandchild and brothers Ted (Aunke), and John (Anne). He leaves behind his loving twin sister Clara (Elko) Brouwer and his loving oldest sister Anny (Bill) Spoelstra.

The family is very thankful for the years of loving care by all the staff at Shalom Manor in Grimsby where Mom still lives.

There will be a private family service at Chapel Hill Cemetery on Monday, April 28.
