Obituary of Patricia Christine Manzi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Christine Manzi (nee Long), a beloved wife, mother, grandma and friend, who passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025 at Hotel Dieu Shaver at the age of 77.

Patricia was a woman of unwavering strength and kindness, always putting others before herself. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished. Patricia is survived by her loving family, including husband of 56 years and cruising partner Nicola (Nick), daughters Dina (John) Knight and Kristina, grandchildren Victoria and Benjamin and granddog Charlie.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Katherine and Melville Long, and her infant son, Anthony. She was the big sister to David and Kathy and was an adored sister-in-law, aunt and zia to family in Canada and Italy. Her memory will be forever etched in our hearts.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to the HDS Staff of 2West, along with Sister Louise Dillon and Dr. Galina Arvinte who showed exceptional kindness and care to our family.

Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. with Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. Luncheon to follow.
