Obituary of Donald Lee

Don Lee, 78 of Hamilton, Ontario died suddenly on February 26, 2025, at home. He was born on 28 June 1946, to Donald and Jessie Lee of Calder Street, Motherwell, Scotland. Don married Sheila Reid in 1966 and moved to Canada where they remained dedicated to each other until Sheila passed away in 2021. Don spent most of his working life with Stelco. His ability to connect with people and make them smile brought him many close friends who felt like family. 

Don's sister Sheena and family in Scotland would like extend our heartfelt thanks to Lesley Powell and family for all their help and support during this difficult time, to his friends Fish and Mary Close for their friendship and daily contact over the years and to his friends and neighbours Marisa and Sharon for looking after Don in so many ways. We would also like to thank Michelle and Sandra of the Shopper Drug Mart, King St. East, Stoney Creek for their kindness and attention during and at the end of Don's life.

Don will be sorely missed by family and friends in Canada, Scotland, Australia and England.

He will have a special place in our hearts forever.
