Obituary of Daniel John McKenna

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father Daniel John McKenna on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in his 79th year.  While his absence leaves us with heavy hearts, we find solace knowing he is at peace reunited with his predeceased wife and love of his life Barbara. Loving father of Paul and Shannon (Michael Battista). Beloved grandfather of Alexis, Zachariah and Jacob. Predeceased by his brothers Paul and John and survived by sister/brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel had a hardwork ethic having spent over 35 years at Dofasco as a Tool and Die maker.  His passion for the outdoors, boating and fishing will be remembered by family and friends who enjoyed quality time up north.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, March 5th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. with Vigil Prayers starting at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Church, 400 Pottruff Rd. N. (corner of Barton St. and Nash Rd.) in Hamilton on Thursday, March 6th at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has already taken place.
