With broken hearts we announce the passing of Joyce Anna Becker (Kartechner) on February 26, 2025 at the age of 92.

Loving wife of Clare (Salty) for 74 years. Loving mother of Janice (Jim) and Ken (Viv). Wonderful grandmother to Patricia (Michael), Craig (Tricia), Tom, Carrie (Aaron), and 7 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Bernice Stricker, Roy Kartechner, and Kathleen Barber.

The family would like to thank the Hamilton General and St. Peter’s Hospitals for their compassionate care. She was a wonderful and caring woman to all, and will be deeply missed.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, March 6, from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
