September 16, 1962 – February 20, 2025

With heavy hearts, after a courageous fight with family by her side - we announce the sudden passing of the beloved Denise Anne Dawson on February 20, 2025. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, and unconditional love.

Denise lived a life filled with love and compassion. She was known for her nurturing spirit toward her immediate family, close loved ones and friends. As well as her hard work and dedication for 30+ years in her career as the Senior Manager of Finance with HWDSB.

She created a legacy of love and cherished memories with her husband of 38 years; Michael. Her daughters Kelly and Jennifer, spouse David and granddaughter Nora.

Her love, wisdom, and warmth will forever remain in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hamilton Health Sciences in her honour.
