If I were to think of one thing to describe my uncle Robert it would be family.
Like with a lot of extended family, it can be difficult to stay close and be connected. Our family, with uncle Robert and Aunt Judi very often being hosts, had special days of us being able to be together and to reconnect and enjoy the fun of being a family. These were events that I greatly looked forward to and always went home feeling warm and fuzzy. A lot of memories of those days are what I hold close and think about. Whether remarking on my current hairstyle or being bartender with his elf hat on, he always made me smile. I think one of my favourite things was when he would tell stories about his life but I really enjoyed when he talked about grandma. Uncle Robert I will miss you dearly, but wil think of you often.

Sincere condolences to Judi, Mel, Phil, Bronwyn & Koen.
We will always have fond memories of Rob who always made you feel welcome and part of the family.
Most recent memory of being invited over for a lovely roast lunch whilst I was visiting last year.
A family whose generosity and love have always stood out to everyone who knew them and how these qualities have been passed down to their children and grandchildren creating a legacy of kindness and warmth that will endure for generations to come. With deepest sympathy Charles & Jo

Judi, Mel, Phil, Bronwyn and Koen,
We are so sorry to hear of Robs passing. Over 40 years of being neighbours with so many laughs, jokes and memories yet there are no words to describe the loss and sadness. Always the trickster, I accused Rob of hiding my planter. He hunted high and low for it before we realized it really had been stolen. A big heart and thoughtful deeds like the Christmas season we came home from treatments to find our back hedge all lit up in Christmas lights to enjoy. He confessed he almost fell and got hurt doing it!
You will be missed Mr. Green but you have left us many stories and memories to share. RIP
Moe, Jamie, Mel, Jen, Mark and Noah

Rob will be greatly missed by all of the Zics. He's been so interwoven into our family, even before some of us were born.
We will greatly miss his pop-ins, seeing him around the building and his thoughtful consistency with Jean.
One of the best neighbours we could have ever asked for.
Sending love from the entire Zic family to the all of the Greens.

While I did not know Rob well, I fondly remember his kindness, his penchant for joy and laughter and his effortlessness in engaging with others. He always struck me as a happy, generous man who did well in the lottery of life. My deepest condolences to Judi, Mel and all his family and friends. Sending love. ❤️ - Rosanne L Bonanno

Rob. Synonymous with gregarious. So many memories from when I was a kid going to the Green’s for the most epic get togethers that of course, included bbq, a swim, and lots of laughs. Get another lawn chair ready Uncle Eddie! Sending love.

The telmer family is heartbroken to hear about the passing of Rob. My sincere condolences to Judi, Melanie, Phil, bronwyn, Koen and the rest of the family. What I will most remember is the kind hearted generosity of Rob and the importance he attached to family. Whenever we visited Ontario, both he and Judi would open up their home to all five of us so that the cousins could spend some time together to connect. Whether it was a swim in their backyard pool, bbq’s, Judi’s famous peach pie, we always felt welcome. So many happy memories. He will be sincerely missed.

Robert , you're truly one of kind .
We had so many laughs whether with family or alone.
You showed me how to really celebrate xmas , with a real tree & the finest decorations
I showed you how to play golf :).
I tossed candy or a wine cork @ you @ diner time & blamed it on you when Judy wasn't looking :)
You help me Renovate up north ,you helped me with my side jobs ,
You never once complained , even when you were truly Exhausted.
I'm gonna miss everything about you , you were a stand up guy , one heck of a father in law , an incredible husband & a Passionate and honourable Papa to our kids .
Charlie (dog) will certainly miss your caresses and massages with those crooked fingers.
You were loved more than you will ever know , RIP with Todd until we meet again .

Rob is going to be missed by so many, especially in the James Lee Suites where he joined in all of the activities, always had joke or story to tell. He was our favourite chef on BBQ days always did a fabulous job. And enjoyed a Rusty Nail drink with Brian after the BBQ meal.
Judy and Family our hearts go out to you at this very sad time, hopefully you can take comfort in the great memories of the years spent together ❤️
I know for Brian and I it was a pleasure knowing Rob and spending fun times with him both at the curling club in Dundas and our home in James Lee Suites.
