Obituary of Brenda Viola White

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Brenda on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 64. Born September 19, 1960 to Cecelia and Gillis Guité. Brenda was a loving mother to Dustin and Brieann, grandmother to Link, Evie and Jade, devoted wife to Joseph, and sister to Brian, Denis, and Ron. Brenda was a woman whose life was a reflection of warmth, kindness, and joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A passionate gardener, Brenda found great joy in cultivating her beautiful garden, where the flowers bloomed as vibrantly as her spirit. She had an unshakeable love for the sun, often spending her days basking in its warmth, a true symbol of the light she brought into the lives of everyone around her.

Her love for adventure took her far and wide, and she cherished her travels, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories. Brenda's infectious laugh and bright smile were her trademarks, and it was impossible not to be uplifted by her presence. She had the rare gift of making friends with everyone she met, and her circle of loved ones spanned far and wide.

As a mother and grandmother, she nurtured her family with boundless love, teaching them the values of kindness, resilience, and living life to the fullest. Her unwavering devotion to her family and the laughter she shared with them will remain in their hearts forever.

Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and unforgettable memories. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, February 24, from 12:00 p.m. to the time of the service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following the service.

The family invites all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her remarkable life. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the summertime in Brantford.
