Obituary of Russell "Russ" Arnold
In Loving Memory
Forever on the Road, Forever in Our Hearts
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Russell "Russ" Arnold, surrounded by his loving family on February 1st, 2025, at the age of 66.
Russ was the cherished husband of Milka, his constant companion on both the open road and in life. Their memories together, especially their unforgettable bike trip to Nova Scotia last summer, reflect the deep bond they shared—a partnership built on love, laughter, and adventure.
He was a proud father to Mandy and her husband Ian, and a loving Grampa to Nate and Noah, whose lives were filled with Russ’ warmth, joy, and generosity. He is also survived by his brothers Vern and his wife Joy, and Billy and his wife Cheryl.
A true motorcycle fanatic, Russ found freedom and peace on the road, whether it was his annual birthday ride around the block on his birthday on January 1st or cruising with his riding brothers. His love for motorcycles was matched only for his love for the Boston Bruins, and his energy and enthusiasm will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, February 7th, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated in Russ’ memory.
Russ’ memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and riding brothers. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Russ will forever ride with us, in every twist of the throttle, in every shared laugh, and in every cherished moment.
Ride in peace, Russ.
Your journey continues, always.
