Our deepest condolences on the loss of Rose. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. She led by example and never waivered in her unconditional love for the ones she let in. I was fortunate enough to have had her in my life for almost all of mine. She made a significant impact on me and I felt home when I was with her. She made me a better person and her door was always open with unwaveringly love and support. To have been a part of that I am truly grateful and blessed. She will always be remembered with much love and forever in our hearts♥️

Mrs. Wilson was a beautiful warm and welcoming woman. She was my wonderful friend Patti’s Mom. Mrs. Wilson always engaged with you when you were welcomed into her home. She asked how you were doing and was interested in what Patti and I were up to (usually learning a song and singing in the living room).
Rest in Peace Mrs. Wilson, I know you are watching over your family who deeply miss you.
Love Michele

My heart goes out to all of the Wilson family. Rose was and will always have a special place in my heart. I was always welcome to come and swim and I use to bring my little sister, both Doug and Rose always made us feel so welcome. When my parents moved down the mountain, I wanted to stay and finish my schooling with Lori. My parents were so grateful that Mr. and Mrs. Wilson took me without any hesitation. They treated me like one of their own girls and I loved every minute of it. I love Rose, she was like a second MOM to me!

Doug, Lori, Patti and all the kids, we all have such good memories of Rose. Having known Lori from the 6th grade, there were sleep overs, swimming and Rose put up with us all. I learn not to leave my wet bathing suit on the floor as Rose corrected me with a ruler. Rose and Doug were such a beautiful couple, Then going forward to the next generation Rose looked after Colin, like he was one of her own. she taught him many good lessons. He loved his Nanna and Papa. We are grateful to have you all in our lives. with much love and hugs, Mike, Marilyn and Colin.

Rose was a very caring woman with a warm heart. She was always very genuine and welcoming, and genuinely cared for the people around her. You could show up at Rose’s house pretty much anytime and you’d always be very welcomed. She was always so interested in your life and what you were doing. And you could tell that she actually really cared…not just making conversation. Rose was a good egg. The world needs more people like Rose. She will be deeply missed.

My wife Debbie and I lived next door to Doug and Rose for 14 years from 1981 to 1995. Living next door was a great time in our lives. Doug and Rose were always supportive and quite simply were great neighbors. Rose was always there for us. She was a strong person, always fair and helpful. It was our good fortune to live next door. Our sincere Love and condolences to Doug, Lori, Patti and their families Rest in Peace Rose.

I was on many school trips where Rose volunteered to chaperone when Lori was at work. My family and Lori’s family lived in the same townhouse complex in the early 1990s and I was lucky enough to get to know the entire family. Getting to know Rose and Doug it was no surprise that Lori and her kids were such wonderful people. I am truly saddened by the news of Rose’s passing but so happy I have so many wonderful memories of her.

Our heats break with the loss of this amazing woman!
I remember going with you to New Brunswick on one of your many holidays out there. I also remember Patti and I getting grounded (for 1 day) for coming in one night quite inebriated. It rained the day we were grounded, so you let us have friends come over to visit! Hahaha!!! I’d probably still be grounded if it was my dad and mom!
Thank you so much for being my other parents for my entire life!
Uncle Doug, Lori, Patti and family…I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in all the beautiful memories that you share!
Aunt Rose… I will miss you dearly!
Love Rita

I’m so sorry for your loss I was with our monthly dinner group with her sister Ethel. My sister Lynn who I lost a couple of years ago would pick her up for the dinners. Rose was always looking her best every time I’d see her I know over the years the dinners were getting harder for her to go to. I’m glad she has no more pain May she rest in peace.

Mom..
You are the whisper of the leaves as I walk down the street,
You are the smell of certain foods I remember,
You are the flowers of roses and gerberas you like, and the fragrance of life itself.
Mom...
You have been the cool hand on my brow when I have not felt well,
You are the breath in the air on this cool winter day,
You are the sound of the rain that lulls me to sleep, and the vibrant colors of the rainbow, peeking thru with a ray of sunshine.
Mom...
You have always been my Christmas morning.
You live inside my laughter,
You are the place I came from, my first home, and the map I follow with every step I take.
Mom...
You are my first love, my first friend, even my first enemy.
But nothing on Earth can separate you.
Not time, not space...not even death.
RIP my beautiful momma. Your humming has brought me comfort knowing you are okay. Until I see you again, sing, dance, and fly. Hug my furbabies. Forever and Always. Patti xo
