Obituary of Sean Marshall

Sean passed away suddenly at home on January 17, 2025 at the age of 47. Loving husband and best friend to his wife Melanie, spending 24 great years by each other’s side. Proud and kind hearted father to Henry Axl.

Sean was the beloved son of Marjorie Marshall and the late Mike Marshall. He had a special bond with his sisters Sandra (pre-deceased Ted), Coleen (Chuck) and Carrie (Jeff) and many nieces, nephews and other families.

Though Sean’s life was too short with us, he had a huge impact on so many of us. Sean was very dedicated to his friends and family.  He knew how to light up a room and taught us how to take it easy and enjoy life.  He could find humour in every situation.

Sean was a loyal Minnesota Vikings and Vancouver Canucks fan.  He enjoyed following sports stats and prospects, trading cards and expanding his collections.  He loved to write, improvise, sing and listen to music.  If there was a microphone in a room, you knew where Sean would be. Sean was competitive at sports and games. It was fun to be on his team and to play against him.

Sean was a strong, hard working provider for his family.  Everything he did was to make the life of his family better.  He enjoyed laughing with the friends and family he made along the way.   He was loved and will be continued to be loved. We will miss Sean every day with many memories of him.
