Lorne Roy Felker Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our brother, brother-in-law and Uncle. Lorne, son of the late Roy and late Clarcie Felker of Stoney Creek, was born in Hamilton, and resided amongst the agriculturaI community his entire life.
Lorne enjoyed many years of farming on the family farm. He was a forward-thinking farmer that loved to explore new agriculturaI practices and was always keen to try new ideas. His mentorship and insightfulness were provided with much wisdom and always welcomed. Lorne was a true gentleman, he was humble, and with his quiet demeanor, incredible sense of humor, and wealth of knowledge of facts, he touched the lives of many.
Lorne is survived by his sister Shirley (Ray) Spoelstra and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Norman (Joan) Felker and his sister Ruby (Alvin) Johnson. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, December 4th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., with at Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at Felker Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy or in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
