Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Heritage Green Nursing Home, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Walter. Cherished sister of the late Urta (the late Jack), the late Helmut (Elaine), and Kristiane (the late Fred). Dearly loved aunt of Karen Bonspille (Heidinger)(Victor), and Robin Heidinger (Agie) and great-aunt of Isaiah, Grace and Joy Bonspille, Elijah and Abigail Heidinger. She will be missed by her many family and friends in Canada, England and Germany.

Ruth enjoyed traveling with and spoiling her niece and nephew, and was proud to have owned her hair salon, Silhouette Salon, in Welland. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
