I shared many conversations and laughs with Henny over the years at Laidlaw. She was always interested in hearing about my children. She was a very special member of our congregation and will be missed by all of us.

Whenever Oma visited it was a wonderful time. She was always nice and had surprises for me. Seeing Oma always made me happy. I will miss all those special times that she came to visit since she always made us happy when she was around. This Christmas won't be the same without her, but I know she is looking down and is with us in spirit.

To my beautiful Oma. I am very thankful for the wonderful relationship that we had. You were always the one person I could count on to be in my corner. You were always there for me in ways that other people were not. You saw things in me that not only did others not see, by that I often did not see in myself. Thank you so much for being my guiding light and my safe space throughout my life. I am not quite sure how I am going to navigate my life without you, but I am so thankful that you are at peace now. Please watch over me and know that you will always be in my memories. I love you now and always.

DEAR FAMILY - WE WERE SADDENED TO LEARN ABOUT THE PASSING OF HENNY A GRACIOUS LADY AND FRIEND THAT WE HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE TO KNOW FOR SEVERAL DECADES . INITIALLY AS A BUSINESS COLLEAGUE AND THEN MANY HAPPY MEMORIES OF SOCIAL GET TOGETHERS AFTER RETIREMENT.HENNY HAD A CARING INTEREST IN OUR LIFE INCLUDING THAT OF OUR EXTENDED FAMILY AS WELL. I am so sorry to hear of Henny's passing although grateful that she is now in peace.My prayers go out to Kenneth who looked after her so lovingly. The two of you were a lovely sight to see. Henny was a very fun and loving "sister" to my Mom and Dad since I was a small child. As I grew we had some meaningful talks about relationships, love and loss. She was a very kind and smart woman sharing some hard wisdom's , always with compassion..I shall think of you often and know that you are enjoying your new chapter and watching over your loved ones. Oma was a special person who always saw the good in people and judged them on who they were rather than what others said about them. She was a truly wonderful person and she will be greatly missed by all of us. Christmas won't have the same warmth this year as is used to.

Rest in peace beautiful woman. Thank you for being there my entire life. Thank you for being the best friend to my mom over the years, and especially when she became ill. My mom was my guiding light through thick and thin, she taught me to see the best in people , treat them the way you want to be treated . She soldiered through her illness with never a complaint . I was happy I could be there for her up until her last breath and care for her as she cared for me , a huge void is left in my life now and will do my best for her legacy to live on. I love you, mourn for you and know you are in a better place pain free. I cherish memories , joy and will miss you terribly . Your loving son , Ken rest in peace

You were the best son Ken as it was so plain to see the love between you both.You were together every moment. What a wonderful blessing that was. Yes, there is a huge void in your life, but along with your memories know that there are many who love you too !

This is the last picture I got to take with my wonderful amazing oma. I think back at all the break memories I have of spending weekends with her or going to visit her at work while I was with our grandpa.. I will always cherish them. RIP Henny. Thanks for being such a wonderful friend to Mom all through the years, lots of great memories were created. I hope you two go shopping and have lunch and lots of laughs up there. You are reunited, 16 years to the day that Mom passed, that's Karma for sure. Love, Fran & Tom
