Obituary of Michele Renzella

RENZELLA, Michele Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Arbour Creek Longterm Care Centre on Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in his 83rd year. Reunited with his beloved wife Carmela. Devoted and loving father of Leo (Wendy), Dave (Susan), Amy (Jay), Cathy (Stan). Proud grandfather of Michael (Mel), Ben (Kristina), Heather (John), Chris (Vanessa), Andrea, Kevin, Chad, Alex, Kyle and great-grandfather of Ayden and Carys. Dear brother of Antonietta (Domenic) D'Intino and brother-in-law of Concettina and Rose. Predeceased by his parents Aurelio and Caterina, his in-laws Nunzio and Emilia, and siblings Maria Grazia (Romolo) Cirone, Alessandro (Antonietta), Remo and brother-in-law Amerigo. Will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, Italy, Australia and the United States. Mike was a retired employee of Stelco and dedicated Local 1005 Union member. He was well loved by all of the people he encountered. A special thanks to his friends at Villa Italia and Arbour Creek Longterm Care Centre. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 3-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 1393 Cannon St. E., Hamilton, on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
