I have so many fond memories of Joe, we had so much fun at the SELF/CASS programs for many years. I liked it when Joe would recite the Old Mother Hubbard nursery rhyme and say his mothers name. It was such a pleasure to see Joe's face when he moved into the East 43rd Res from St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home. I know he just loved it there. I remember when Joe first arrived, he saw himself in the bathroom mirror, he smiled from ear to ear. We did so many things together like going up North with all of his friends. He loved his poppy seed cake and coffee. He loved soaking in the tub for hours, or it seemed like it. Joe had the best smile ever and he sure made me laugh a few times. We still share memories of Joe with some of his friends, especially his long time Bill C who has just chosen to retire from the program. Sorry I wasn't able to make it Saturday, however Joe has been on my mind for a while and I keep him in my prayers. Miss you Joe, I will never forget you, thanks for the memories.God Bless.
