Mommy Bev is what I called her. I cannot remember how this nickname all came about but I do recall my memorable times shared with The Burleys as a young girl and best friend to Jacquie. I loved being included in such a large family and was in awe of how this quiet wonderful woman could manage such a brood. As a young woman, on my own, she welcomed me into her home during a difficult but thankfully short lived period. Having also been blessed with a fabulous mom and having that special mother/daughter relationship, I understand the loss Jacquie is feeling. After all, our mothers’ love is our real true first love. Bev was not only a Good mother and Loving wife, she was a great lady with great beauty, inside and out. Love you Mommy Bev. Thanks for sharing your love and your secret ingredient for Best Fried Spaghetti Ever! Cathy Owen

Sending my deepest condolences to the entire family and to those who knew and loved Bev. What a wonderful woman. I am so glad to have known her for close to 50 years. We who knew her, were so blessed. Sending extra love to Jacquie, Seb and Gabriel. Jacquie, you were a wonderful daughter and best friend to your Mom, always putting her first. I will fondly remember your Mom and the campfire conversations we had at the lake. May she rest in peace! She will be with you always! Xo
