His laugh could be heard a block away from the firehall. As a young firefighter he was always very welcoming, loved watching him start his art career at Mohawk/Wentworth station.Ken was a great talent. Sorry to hear of his passing,
My condolences to you Judy, the Boys and family. I worked with Kenny (Turkey) at many stn’s, and was working with him at Stn#7 when he retired. He was a great person and boss, whom I respected. I will always remember his laugh, humour, and the great meals he made for the guys. I always looked forward to seeing him and catching up, at any of the HFD functions, (that he would go to.) Judy, Paul, David and family, Tom and I are sad to hear about Kens passing but so glad it was on his own terms and he is no longer in pain. We think of you all often, how can you not when our kids grew up together and you all were great neighbours.
