Obituary of Heather Kane

KANE, Heather

After a courageous battle, Heather passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 7^th 2018 in her 54^th year.  Cherished daughter of Christina and the late Bill.  Loving sister of Tina (Brian), William (Betty), Alan and Paul.  Devoted aunt of Michael (Haemi), David (Julie), Mark (Michelle), William (Meaghan), Matthew, Justin (Jessica) and great-aunt of Ivan and Eva.  She will be missed by her family and friends, the Crispins in Wales, cousins in Scotland and also here in Hamilton.  She will be dearly missed by her longtime friends Hans, Kathy and her furry companion Bodi.  Special thanks to all the people who helped Heather remain comfortable these past 4 years especially the nurses at Juravinski, Suzanna and Kerry.  Heather was a proud teacher spending most of her career at Queen Mary and later at Billy Green. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, April 10^th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  and Wednesday, April 11^th from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m.  Cremation to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Notes of sympathy and condolences may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
