Obituary of Tim Barrell

BARRELL, Tim 

Passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 after enduring several health challenges the age of 66. Beloved partner for over 30 years to Debra Hughes. Cherished step-father to Julie Young, and proud grandfather to Thyson, Mikela, and Jaida. Tim will be fondly remembered as a trustworthy, loyal, and life-long friend to many people.  Tim’s family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and staff who assisted in his care these past years. An avid 10-pin bowler, Tim was proud to have bowled a perfect game and is lovingly remembered as a dog lover and gardener. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday March 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A brief Celebration of Tim’s life will take place at 7:30 p.m., where friends are encouraged to share special memories of Tim.
