Obituary of Harold Joseph Parker

PARKER, Harold Joseph 

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the age of 92. Predeceased by his wife Joan of 53 years (2008). Harold will be missed by his family Doug and Judy Clifton, Scott and Jeannine, Jeff and Jane, and grandchildren Ciara, Brady, Caela, and Ainsley. Predeceased by his brother Roy. Born in Stoney Creek in 1925, Harold was a retired employee of Bell Canada and a Life Member of The Telephone Pioneers of America. He was also a long time member of Cheyne Presbyterian Church in Stoney Creek, as well as a member of Wentworth Masonic Lodge #166 since 1948. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Cheyne Presbyterian Church, 7 King Street West, Stoney Creek, on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Stoney Creek Cemetery.
