MCKENNA, Connie (Constance) Patricia (nee Ridley)

April 19, 1949 - January 19, 2018 

After a brave and lengthy battle with cancer, Connie passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2018 in her 69th year, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick McKenna and parents Hank and Toby Ridley. Beloved mother of Jennifer McKenna and her partner Rob Barca, Ryan McKenna and his partner Heather Guthrie, Joel McKenna and his partner Loran Steplock, Matthew McKenna and his wife Jess Swanton, Rachel McBurney and her husband Aaron. Cherished grandmother of Aria Mozzone, Austin Morra, Claire McKenna, Lewis McKenna, and Riley McBurney. Dear sister of Laurie Flodrowski and her husband Les and Chris Ridley and his wife Annie and treasured sister-in-law of Sister Marie McKenna. Connie will also be keenly missed by extended family members Eric Flodrowski, Lindsay Flodrowski, Dr. Devon Shewfelt, Michelle Shewfelt, Nolan Flodrowski, Lyla Flodrowski and Cindy McKenna. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 25th at 11 a.m. All are welcome. Cremation to follow. Following the service there will be a reception and an evening Celebration of Life. Details TBA.
