Obituary of Valerie Patricia Zamora

ZAMORA, Valerie Patricia (nee Lapinsky)

Peacefully, at home on January 10,  2018 at the age of 82.  Beloved wife of Steve for over 62 years.  Cherished mother of Tara McMillan (Douglas) and Anthony Zamora (Kate).  Loving Grandma of Greg (Megan), Ethan and great-grandma of Blake.  Also remembered by her brother Gerry Lapinsky (Anne), brothers-in-law Walter Zamora (Joan), Emil Zamora (the late Kathy), cousin Bernice Lezon and numerous nieces and nephews.  Valerie will be missed by her long time friends Wanda Madronich, Elmo and Inez Nunziato.  Friends will be received at  Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m.  Vigil prayers will be offered at 8 p.m.   Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 a.m.  Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Nephrology Department would be appreciated.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
