On Thursday, May 25, 2017, Hazel reached out to her good Lord and asked Him to “Take my hand precious Lord and lead me home”. Hazel was born in Northern Ireland and was in her 96th year. Married to Tommy (deceased 1994). Loving mother of Jim.  Predeceased by her sisters Selma and Tommy Mitchell and Muriel Robb and Bill. Loving aunt of Derek Robb and his wife Ruth, Barbara and her husband Bill Kunkel, Geoff Mitchell and Shirley, Walter Mitchell and his wife Eileen, Pat Mullen, Anne Maxwell and her husband Moe, Heather Davidson and Bruce, the families of Angela and Tony Adams, Merlyn and Janet of England and several nieces and nephews in Northern Ireland. Also predeceased by niece Myrtle Chambers and her husband Joe. The Funeral Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, May 30 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
