Obituary of Alison Marie Smith P.Eng

SMITH, Alison Marie P. Eng Suddenly as the result of a car accident on Thursday, July 28, 2016, in her 33rd year. Beloved wife of Kevin Morgan. Loved daughter of Tom and Doris-Anne Smith (DeWildt). Dear sister of Laura (Jason Honegger), Elizabeth (Scott Dunlop). Dear sister-in-law of Holly Morgan. Beloved granddaughter of John DeWildt and Emmeline Runstedler. Cherished aunt of Daniel, Caelan, Christopher and William. Will be greatly missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alison was a graduate of the University of Waterloo (Systems Design), and McMaster University. She was employed as an engineer at ATS Automation. Active as a volunteer with St. John Ambulance and Canadian Ski Patrol both as a member of the National Board of Directors and a Patroller at Chicopee Ski Club. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, August 3rd from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Stoney Creek United Church, corner of Lake Ave. Dr. and King St., Stoney Creek on Thursday, August 4,2016 at 11 a.m. with Visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. In Alison’s memory, donations to Canadian Ski Patrol or St. John Ambulance would be appreciated by the family.
