Obituary of Mary Kordus

KORDUS, Mary Our sweet Lord came to take Mary in open arms so she could reunite with her husband Anthony. Beloved mother of Rick (Myrna), John (Susan). Loving Babcia to Lindsey, Toni-Lynne (Mario), David (Krissie), Kristina (Mack) and Alaina. Great-Babcia to Brandon, Matthew, Shaun and Audrey. Will be deeply missed by her loving sister Ann, family in Poland and Germany and her friend Grace De Frias. Mary enjoyed gardening. If you tried to find her, all you had to do was look in her garden. Mary also loved to play euchre with friends. Special thank you to the nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
